Days in New York

When I tell about my time in New York normally everyone reacts like „Wow, you lived in New York? How cool is that!“. To tell you the truth, it wasn’t all that great.

Living in a pet store somewhere in Chelsea with 40 nagging puppies around me in glass boxes wasn’t too uplifting. Loud music all day, people in and out, sitting down chasing us…man, it was a madhouse. At least a bunch of good looking guys took care of us in the store…I give them credit for that

Luckily this woman from Amsterdam walked by the store coincidently…spottet me and… baam boom!! Fell in love. Instantly, she says. Thought she had to save me. Even came back to visit me until I could travel to Europe. I admit, when we met for the first time we both felt this immediate click.

I did not want her to go away anymore. She didn’t even mind me chewing up her cashmere shawl. Can’t wait….

Well, the happy end of the story is that she adopted me and a few weeks later, when I was old enough mum had me coming to Amsterdam. So here I am and I make three crosses! 😉
